Our Mission
Our goal is to increase awareness about environmental issues among the student and faculty of Braden River High School. We abide by the philosophy that just one person can make a difference. Because of this, we aim to educate individuals and empower them to live more environmentally conscious lives. Our hope is that by implementing eco-friendly practices at our school and our homes, we can make a positive, meaningful and measurable impact on our world.
What We Do
Our most prominent role in school is collecting the recycling. For one hour twice a week, we gather the recycling from every classroom and ensure it is prepared for pick-up. If we were to not do this, all this waste would go straight to the landfill.
We also have a variety of fun yet impactful volunteering events planned for this year, including a beach clean up through adopt-a-shore and assisting a nature conservatory.
How to Contribute
Do your part to reduce harm by reducing the amount of waste you produce. Reduce your consumption of disposable products, and recycle whenever possible.
Encourage others to take action to protect our beautiful Earth! Remind others to recycle and inform them of the proper procedure.
